This extremely well preserved large Ukiyo-e ( woodblock print) by world famous Japanese artist Tsukioka Yoshitoshi is in remarkable condition for its age.
Yoshitoshi ( 1839-1892) is regarded as the world's best ukio-e artist. The art of ukio-e (woodblock printing) started in the 17th century and fell out of fashion
during the 19th century when modern printing methods were introduced.
